Baía de Todos os Santos (All Saints Bay) is the largest bay in Brazil. Most of its 54 islands are surrounded by clear warm water, and filled with beautiful landscapes composed by the combination of the blue ocean with the Atlantic Forest. Some of these islands are just a short boat ride away from the city of Salvador such as Ilha do Frades (The Friars’ Island) and Ilha de Maré (The Tide’s Island). The calm waters of the All Saints Bay also wash the shores of some historical towns and fishermen villages. They are ideal for sailing, fishing, snorkeling and scuba diving. Once in Salvador, going on a boat trip to one of the islands is a great way to spend and enjoy the day.
